home intrusions and break and enters
in
communities
including yours every year. By
having
an alarm
system, you deflect the break in from your home. Police
will tell you when thieves are going to break in to
some home in your neighbourhood, if someone else's
home near your is security protected, and yours isn't,
your home will likely be the target of an intrusion.
So
protect yourself by having an alarm system installed
and you will avoid the humiliation, personal sense
of loss, and danger to your family.

Burglar-Proofing
Tips
There
are several things you can do to help protect your
home without investing a lot of money.
Tip
#1. If you have sliding windows remember that they
are the most easiest window to gain entry through,
as they are not difficult to lift up and out. In order
to restrict this simply install 2 screws per sliding
window in the upper tracks of the window casing. Just
enough to allow the window to slide freely yet not
enough to allow them to be lifted up and out.
Tip
# 2 Doors are another easy target for burglars, most
people will invest a tidy sum on dead bolts, which
if not installed with bolt buddies may only help the
burglar in their desire to gain entry. Looking at
your dead bolt you will notice that it only goes into
the door frame by approximately an inch and a 1/2
and you only have a 1/4 of an inch of space between
your dead bolt access point and your door molding.
Most door frames are made from fur which is a very
soft wood and can be easily broken away. In order
to strengthen your door frame you should have bolt
buddies installed. This is a small strip that fits
into your door frame, giving it the strength that
it needs to hold that dead bolt in place.
